Kurt Vonnegut, Jr, rest in peace
I just found out that the immense Kurt Vonnegut has left to meet his Maker… even though he was a staunch atheist and probably would cringe at that last line.
He was one of the greatest authors of the Golden Era of American science fiction, and a master at mixing sci-fi, black comedy and sheer weirdness.
Just like the Argentine writer Rodrigo Fresán did, I will have to reread his entire oeuvre (Vonnegut’s, not Fresán’s).
Oh well, people have to die, I guess.
